Macrons Mad Warming Policies Set Paris Alight

The anti-Trump media warned the president’s crazy ideology would trigger violence. They were right. They just had the wrong guy:  

Protesters have scaled the Arc de Triomphe in central Paris, as clashes with riot police continued during a third weekend of “yellow vest” rallies.

Police fired tear gas, stun grenades and water cannon on the Champs-Elysées, while masked protesters hurled projectiles and set buildings on fire.

At least 110 people were injured…

Protests over fuel tax have grown into general anger at higher living costs.

President Emmanuel Macron says his fuel policies are needed to combat global warming.

I don’t think the burning buildings will help cool the planet.

Macron’s approval rate in the latest poll: 26 per cent

Trump’s: 47 per cent

(Obama’s at the same point of his presidency: 46 per cent)

So why was Macron a hero of the Australian media and Trump the clown?

Remember how the media cheered Macron when he challenged Trump to follow him in the global warming scare?

Macron ripped apart Trump’s climate change denial in front of Congress — and he got a standing ovation for it.

The ABC in Australia cheered:

Mr Macron seemingly achieved the impossible — receiving a warm welcome from President Donald Trump, while at the same time slamming his world view and many of his policies… There is no planet B (a dig at Mr Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris climate talks) and isolationism harms everyone.Would love to hear Macron try that speech again with Paris burning.

Here’s one invitation Trump would be glad not to have accepted:

French President Emanuel Macron has poked fun at Donald Trump’s refusal to accept climate change science, by joking to delegates at Davos they had not this year invited anyone who was “skeptical” about global warming.
