This is the latest newsletter from John Droz.

Thank you for the MANY very supportive comments I’ve received about my upcoming talk to Congress (still scheduled for next Thursday: 10/17).

The Congressional presentation is open to the public, but is an RSVP event, as space is limited and we need a headcount for lunch (graciously provided by Deseret Power Cooperative).

I will notify all RSVP respondents whether the date changes due to the current government shutdown. No one knows the answer at this time, but we are continuing to plan for the 17th in Rayburn 2325 (11 AM or 1 PM).

Our proposed national energy slogan is “All of the Sensible” (in contrast to the absurd “All of the Above”). Additionally we should be using the term “unreliables” when speaking of renewables.
