Fix The RFS!

America is losing thousands of high-paying jobs while our fuel supply is becoming less reliable, which is compromising our energy and national security. What’s the cause of this fiasco? It’s called the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). The RFS is a government program that mandates the blending of ethanol and other biofuels into our fuel supply. Unfortunately, the bureaucratic design of the program is driving up the operating costs of independent refiners to the point where many are on the brink of closure.

The EPA and Congress need to act immediately to Fix the RFS before more damage is done to America’s economic, energy and national security.
