Roanoke Times, 9-3-2018, ½-Pg 7: Our plantation economy

By a professor at Radford University teaching teachers
Based on today’s economic recovery vs Obama’s 8-years of economic malaise, if we have a ‘plantation economy’ then clearly, for 8-years, Obama was ‘the Uncle Tom” of the plantation.
The author’s extension of Marx’s Manifesto certainly exposes why our public school teachers are well schooled in the joys of Socialism vs. the horrible vices of Capitalism. What a joy to reflect that the ‘Capitalistic TaxPayers’ are paying for this indoctrination of our public school teachers.
Is there any opportunity at Radford to expose our future teachers to the Reality that:
“The free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice of any system ever devised by man”?
Do these professors and future teachers realize that the TaxPayers are spending over $12,000 per student per year (that’s over $150,000 per graduate) for their students to achieve the Skills and Knowledge to become productive members of our society and economy?
It is indeed sad that the instructors in our educational system have such a biased and warped view of the accomplishments and opportunities of this great country and society.

Margaret Thatcher Quote:

‘The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.’

Winston Churchill Quote:
“Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery..”
