North Korea Plays Chicken

The problem with brinkmanship diplomacy is that North Korea plays that game, too:  

North Korea has threatened to cancel next month’s summit between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump in protest at US-South Korean military exercises.

Pyongyang also cancelled high level talks with South Korean officials planned for Wednesday because of the military exercises known as Max Thunder.

North Korea is banking that Donald Trump wants this meeting more than it does. Which is a real risk.
