He won the election. Why can’t Donald Trump just take that massive win and do the damn job? Why tweet wild claims and just make trouble for himself?
FBI Director James Comey has confirmed the agency is investigating Russian interference in the US election and potential links with members of the Trump campaign.
He also rubbished the President’s claim that his campaign was wire-tapped by the Obama administration saying: “I have no information that supports those tweets and we have looked carefully inside the FBI.”
I find the claims of collusion with Russia hard to believe, although not impossible.
But why can’t Trump for now just act presidential? People are hungry for it. Remember the reception for his address to congress?
Instead, it’s back to Barnum and Bailey. No wonder Trump’s poll numbers have been sliding – now 49 per cent approval to 51 per cent approval with Rasmussen. I’m surprised it’s not worse.
