Del-con Brad from the NT warns:
Ultimately, Australia’s Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull has not been capable of providing the Election Campaign our party needs. He has not been capable of providing the campaign confidence that Conservative Liberals need.
Now, we are living as Australians in the most exciting time.
We need a style of election campaigning that explains those challenges and opportunities, explains the challenges and how to seize the opportunities. A style of election campaigning that respects the people’s intelligence that explains these complex issues and then sets out the course of action we believe we should take and makes a case for it.
We need slogans, not advocacy; We need to respect the intelligence of the Australian people.
Now if we continue with this election campaign with Mr Turnbull as Prime Minister, it is clear enough what will happen. He will cease to be Prime Minister and he’ll be succeeded by Mr Shorten.
Reader Steve mentions this:
The coming Federal election is a fight between a former banker who wants to introduce tougher controls on out-of-control unionists, and a former unionist who wants to introduce tougher controls on out-of-control bankers. Simple really.
