Tony left us on June 14, 2008 at the young of 47; he was born May 10, 1961 in White Plains, New York. He was an owner, trainer and driver of harness racehorses, and he was doing what he loved most when he lost his life seven years ago today. The photo below is one of Tony’s many win photos at the then Pocono Downs racetrack. Today it is the Mohegan Sun Pocono – casino and racetrack.

Last week as I watched history in the making as American Pharoah ended the 37 year wait to be the first Triple Crown winner since 1978. I was in awe watching all the great folks having the time of their life at Belmont Park. The only time I ever experienced Belmont Park on the working side of the fence, was when I accompanied Tony, and his heart of gold, to help a friend of his trying to win one of the stake races there. Being in the Harness racehorse business, it was absolutely awesome to get an up-close view of the thoroughbred racing industry. History

This photo below is Tony in the pink shirt with two of his closest friends also from New York which dabbled in thoroughbreds & trotters and pacers.

Rest in peace my dear friend, your memory lives on, and you will never be forgotten. G_ds many blessing to all of Tony’s family and friends. No matter how cruel life can become, I know Tony would have wanted each and everyone one of us to just… Capture what tony wanted us all to do
