The Future Is in The Hands Of These Students

So then, just who did win the Civil War, and, from an even earlier time, who did those early Americans seek to gain Independence from?

All of that, and more, is part of History now, and is taught in the early years of schooling. American students go through their schooling, learning all this. The ones who do well in those early years of schooling then go on to Universities across the Country, and they undergo years of further study to take their places in the Community as the decision makers in all forms of disciplines.

Watch this video from Texas Tech University, and see how many students know the answers to those two questions at the top of the page. Also note how they do know the answers to the really ‘important’ questions put to them.

As a direct result of this video, first released in November last year, 2014, there was a lot of criticism of the group which made it, PoliTech, who justified what they made, saying that had the poll questions been posed at any number of Universities, the result would have been the same or similar, further adding that the intent was to show that while History seems to have been forgotten, everyone seemed to know the answers to those other non History related questions.
