2nd Open Letter to Alan Caruba

Regarding Alan’s reply to my Open Letter to Alan Caruba:

The favorite response to my use of the word “democracy” is to remind me that the USA is a “republic” and, indeed, it is. However, we use the vote, a process of democracy, to determine who shall lead the republic and it is in this context that the word is used. I remain hopeful that “Obamacare” will be overturned in the courts or that a significant shift in power from the Democrats to the Republican Party will permit either revisions or repeal of this law, but it is also historically true that both Social Security and Medicare were strongly opposed in the past and yet became part of our “entitlement” society.

Alan Caruba

Alan, when I first responded to your ‘Reflections on a National Disaster‘ invitation to “Tell me I am wrong. Then tell me why”, my intention was to help remind others reading your article what the difference is, lest your opening quote on democracy by John Adams be inferred as a fait accompli without contextual clarification.

As I’m sure you know, there are still many educated people who are unaware of the essential difference or that the two terms are not interchangeable.  I honestly believe this crisis proves why clarity in our language and careful wording are imperative.  Too much vagueness and use/misuse of generic terms has made people deaf to specific and contextual meaning;   …    “facilitated” by the deliberate ‘dumbing down’, as you mentioned, through government (re)education departments (also in Australia).

So many words have been hijacked by the Left and original meanings inverted. e.g. the Liberal Party in Australia are the conservatives! Latest Obamaspeak translations:  “transparency” = secret; “meaningful” = meaningless; “debate” =  doubletalk etc.

Yes, it is true that the disciples of Alinsky’s insidious ideology and Methods have been gradually infecting and undermining the system from within for years through added “entitlements”, to deliberately weaken it enough for their final coup — Americans are very warm ‘frogs in a pot’ now, but should that mean we just surrender to it as ‘probably’ inevitable?

This is the most urgent and alarming Wake Up call Americans have ever had to remember, before it’s too late, what their country really is, was intended to be — and unite to reclaim it if they do!  These ‘last chance’ warning signs are a true blessing in disguise if heeded.

“People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.” – Benjamin Franklin

Disturbingly, most moderates, conservatives and the GOP seem to be absolutely clueless about what we are really up against. Too many are still deluding themselves that the current Occupiers of our executive government just want to introduce “universal healthcare” control because they “care” about the poor etc.  That they simply don’t understand the economics due to “well intentioned” ideology but they’ll come back to center and play by the proper rules when they see it’s not working.  Not so!

Make no mistake, they know exactly what the effect will be, as “pragmatically”  planned and intended: complete collapse of society to “facilitate” total control — by a ruling elite.

“We are now forming a Republican form of government. Real liberty is not found in the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments. If we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy, or some other form of dictatorship.” –Alexander Hamilton

So, as far as I can see, it is still our responsibility to decide if we want to be “organized” into “serfdom”/slavery, or reclaim the freedom for all as intended by our unique Republic. Only apathy from those who can see but do nothing will ensure the former.

Those who do care enough need to educate themselves in the enemy’s tactics quickly to effectively deflect and counter their group control techniques e.g. the “Healthcare Summit”  scam etc.

Remember General George S. Patton read Rommel’s book!
