Democratic Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania dies at 77. Still a young fella.

I’m sure he has caring family and friends, and probably some that loved him unconditionally. As I am also sure that there were ‘hangers-on’ realizing that with his political clout he was their bread-and-butter.

I pray for his family and close friends, for their comforting and their healing – Spiritually, Mentally and Physically.

Of course there are millions of people that felt his pork-laden legislation in their pocket books. He had the distinction throughout the USA of being the biggest ‘Pork Barrel’ Congressman around.
With him gone this may be the further weakening of the huge Democrat majority, much to Obama, Pelosi and their minion’s sorrow.
I remember the line: “The best-laid plans of mice and men oft(en) go astray”.

Part of me rejoices in the end of his corrupt dynasty, but I would have preferred if he just lost his re-election. I do hope and pray that his replacement will be fair and have the needs of all the citizens of this great country foremost in his or her minds and actions.

Thinking of the anti-American Marxists currently running this U.S.A., reminds me of a Bible quotation: James 4:13-17. Part of which reads: “… you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. …” The full quote follows.   …

James 4:13-17

13Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.
