The problem with governments subsidising anything – like green power – is that it creates a vast network of dependents who scream if the taxpayers’ teat is removed:
The State’s Energy Minister, Chris Hartcher, has said the government would not be supporting green schemes that require a subsidy and is calling for the closure of the federal government’s renewable energy target.
The carpetbaggers must be defied. They’ve taken enough cash already, and should count themselves lucky.
Next question: what will we do with those huge, useless wind farms? Keep them as monuments to our stupidity during the Great Global Warming Scare?
