The father sued and won, but lost to Westboro’s appeal. He was then ordered to pay their court costs of $16,510.80

Regardless of how you feel or think about the First Amendment Rights of Free Speech, or the Westboro Church, this is a miscarriage of Justice.

Everyone has a right to privacy and a private time of grieving.
