Back in 1996, Cruella De Vil was brought to life by none other than Glenn Close in an adventure flick for children, 101 Dalmatians. The evil, puppy-hating wretch ran a fashion design business surrounded by her own personal workers who were ordered around and verbally abused. At one point, Cruella tells her assistant to change this year’s style, to which the assistant says “I thought we liked stripes this year.” Cruella then asks, “What kind of sycophant are you?!” The assistant replies, “Um … What kind of sycophant would you like me to be?”

When I recall these memorable lines from the movie, I can only think of today’s “mainstream media,” the MSM, who are so in the bag for Obama that I picture conversations like this one:
Obama: Tell my adoring fans that I was never part of ACORN.
MSM: Didn’t Project Vote worked hand-in-hand with ACORN?
Obama: What kind of sycophant are you?!
MSM: What kind of sycophant do you want us to be?
**For our younger readers, a “sycophant” is “a self-seeking, servile flatterer; fawning parasite.” In other words, a butt-kisser.
