Today the United States Senate begins questioning Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor regarding her record and qualifications for a seat on our nation’s highest legal bench.
And with one member of the Senate Judiciary Committee having stated that her approval is all but assured, it appears to be a foregone conclusion that we will soon see Sotomayor as the latest Justice of the Supreme Court.
Naturally, in order to look good for the television cameras, some Senators will question her as to her views regarding abortion, gun control, and the like.

Benedict Arlen just rubberstamped her along with everyone else. We’ve all been sold out, and now a racist is going to be on the SCOTUS.

Yeah, I knew Arlen would roll over and paly dead, but I was hoping that there would have been at least one Republican brave enough to take a stand.
