Scooter’s Report – Satire
CHICAGO (SR) – Democrats are predicting an Obama landslide victory. Thanks to a crashing economy, Barack Obama is positioned to win the critical states of Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio and Florida, likely surpassing 350 electoral votes.
An unidentified Obama campaign strategist said, “Thank God these people aren’t into history or facts and stuff,” referring to Democrats signing into law the Community Reinvestment Act during the Carter administration that forced lenders to offer sub-prime loans to low income individuals, and more recently the Democrat’s stonewalling of numerous Bush administration attempts to regulate Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.
When asked if she was implying the average Obama voter in those states was unintelligent, the Obama staffer replied, “Not at all, they just have other things to worry about, like wondering if their welfare check’s going to be late, or if they’ll be able to score a decent crack rock. You know, normal stuff all Americans deal with.”
