McCain Won’t Play by Obama’s Rules

Obama embraced that formula once it became clear that he would best Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. He began pounding McCain for seeking the third term of George W. Bush. At the same time, Obama implores McCain in the interest of “one nation” and “one people” not to attack him. The shorthand, widely repeated by the news media, is that the Republican candidate must not “Swift boat” Obama. That amounts to unilateral political disarmament by McCain.

All it takes is one gaffe to taint a Republican for life. The political establishment never let Dan Quayle live down his fateful misspelling of “potatoe.” The New York Times distorted and misreported the first President Bush’s questions about new scanner technology at a grocers’ convention to brand him permanently as out of touch.

As a former civilian serving as an Analyst within the Department of Defense for 32 years, I have been involved in very damaging legislation created by a liberal government.
I am Independent, registered Dem back in the 70’s, and have always and forever voted Republican. I am probably not your typical conservative, it does drive my friends crazy.
It’s hard to believe that Obama has made it this far, but knowing that Obama is the puppet of the white far left it shouldn’t surprise me. When I read about Obama’s involvement in “PTSD” slaverly reparations my heart stopped. Add this to global world tax that he would have us pay for, and we’ll all be standing in cheese lines soon.
