MIDWIFE DIANE GOSLIN WINS!

GOSLIN WINS!
Cease and Desist Order Reversed!

The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania reversed the Board of Medicine’s decision against Lancaster County Certified midwife, Diane Goslin on May 23, 2008.

The court has overturned an $11,000 fine against the midwife who serves Amish and Mennonite families and says she can resume practicing.

Diane Goslin of Lancaster County says she’s pleased with Friday’s 5-2 Commonwealth Court ruling.

The State Board of Medicine fined Goslin in September for attending an Amish home birth and ordered her to stop practicing immediately. The board argued that Goslin was putting women and their babies at risk by practicing without a license. (Yeah right, after 5,000 successful Deliveries!) It’s all about CONTROL and MONEY! NOTHING ELSE.

Look at all the money this cost her or her benefactors, the lost wages and the hassles caused by our over BLOATED State Government!

The State Board of Medicine tried this before and lost. But they won’t give up until “Big Brother” controls every aspect of our lives and collects all of our money!

I wonder if she can sue them for harassment? or for them filing a frivolous lawsuit? Or filing a frivolous ruling and fine? Award her a Million Dollars , 1/2 to come out of their budget and the other 1/2 from the Board Members themselves, payable in equal monthly payments for next 10 to 20 years. Maybe that will get them to stop this nonsense once and for all. Because if we don’t, in another year or so, the PA State Board of Mendicants Medicine will be at it again, just like in the past.
