Rising Prices?

Rising prices or falling dollar? Out here in the world outside of America’s borders we are used to thinking of the U.S. Dollar as the most sound and stable currency. So what’s going on? Is the price of oil going through the roof or is the value of the Dollar dropping through the floor?
I remember when oil was $15 a barrel …of course I also remember when a New York City Hot Dog on a bun was 12 cents (15 cents if you wanted sauerkraut).
