More Reasons To Not Vote For Ron Paul
Posted by Sniper One on 10/29/2007
From My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy:
There are plenty more reasons why anti-Jewish thugs love Ron Paul, but this is just a start. From the 110th Congress:
H CON RES 21
BILL TITLE: Calling on the United Nations Security Council to charge Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with violating the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and the United Nations Charter because of his calls for the destruction of the State of IsraelFinal Vote: 411 YEAS, 2 NAYS, 11 “PRESENT,” 8 NV.
Who are those two “nays?” None other than Congressmen Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.
H RES 548
BILL TITLE: Expressing the ongoing concern of the House of Representatives for Lebanon’s democratic institutions and unwavering support for the administration of justice upon those responsible for the assassination of Lebanese public figures opposing Syrian control of Lebanon.Final Vote: 415 YEAS, 2 NAYS, 15 NV.
Who are those two “nays?” Again, Congressmen Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.
H RES 557
BILL TITLE: Strongly condemning the United Nations Human Rights Council for ignoring severe human rights abuses in various countries, while choosing to unfairly target Israel by including it as the only country permanently placed on the Council’s agendaFinal Vote: 416 YEAS, 2 NAYS, 14 NV.
Who are those two “nays?” You guessed it–Congressmen Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.
Hey, if you hate the Jews, what’s not to love?

Err, not specifically as in naming them, but as in the specific issue of condemning Iran in the UN. He’s spoken about it from two angles, actually. He’s both stated categorical opposition to the UN, and said that he believes the only reason we’re interested in condemning Iran is because it isn’t subservient to us. (He offers up the point that we don’t condemn Turkey or Saudi Arabia for similar offenses.)
My apologies for the double post. My first post was incomplete.

I don’t think I’m the only one getting very tired of anyone not in favor of Zionist policy being labeled a “Jew Hater”. I don’t hate Jews, nor does Ron Paul. A lot of people are also getting a very tired of our money and our blood being poured into the Middle East religious cesspool.

I find it endlessly fascinating that US citizens get very irate about breaking international law when it is another country that is at fault but, we here in the US do not hold our own government to the same scrutiny. Everything the US government has done since 911 has been a breach of international law. Not to mention breaking our own constitutional law. And Iran would not be in the political state it is in now if it wasn’t for the US. In 1953, the US/CIA over through a democratically elected leader Mohammed Mossadegh and reinstated the Shah who was a dictator. All because the elected leader wanted to nationalize the oil industry and use the profits to benefit all the people in Iran. The US can’t have that when there is oil profits to be made. Again, the US gets in it’s own way. You can not expect the US to be respected when our countries leadership has perfected double speak. Yes, Mahmoud Amadinejad is a racist, anti-semite and a history revisionist who believes the holocaust never happened. But, when Iran was becoming a democratic nation the US was there to thwart it. Instead of focusing all our attention in criticizing other nations maybe we should look more closely at what our government is up to and clean up our own back yard. It just might prevent these things from rearing their ugly heads?
